Discover Our Ministries

We believe that service is a cornerstone of our faith and a vital element of our community life. Our ministries are dedicated to serving others, fostering spiritual growth, and addressing the diverse needs of our congregation and beyond. Through these ministries, we aim to embody the love and compassion of Christ, making a meaningful impact both within our church and in the wider community. We invite you to explore the various opportunities to serve, grow, and connect with others as we journey together in faith and service.

Community Services

Weekly visits to nursing homes providing songs, scriptures, and bible study. Provide holiday meals to the community. Oversee a food pantry for the community and the congregants.

 

Men's Ministry

Weekly reading of the church mission statement. Help those that do not have transportation to church, doctor visits, and grocery shopping. 

 

 

Women's Ministry

Visits to neighbors new to the area.  Provide educational assistance to students. Provide meals for the sick. Connect people with local individuals with expertise in finance, personal care, and health care.

Music Ministry

Provide inspirational music for church services.  Fellowship with other local churches and nursing homes. Rehearsal every Thursday at 5:00. 

You Are Welcome to Visit With Us

You are welcome to join us and experience first hand the Wesley Chapel worship experience. Worship service start at 9am each Sunday. On the first Sunday of the month we share in Holy Communion.  We also break down the Word of God weekly on Mondays at Bible Study at 5pm. Come grow stronger and deeper with us as we strive to reach higher in God’s purpose and will. 

Meet Our Pastor

Rev. Ed Glover

Pastor Edward Glover has been our Shepherd for the last ten years.  He was appointed by the District Superintendent Terrance K. Hayes of the Victoria District Southwest Texas Conference on May 9, 2014. 

His Biblical studies has been obtained from Perkins Seminary School of Theology  in Lukin, Texas.  He has attended various trainings required by the Methodist Conference.  He is a member of the Rio Grande Conference – Victoria , Texas
